On Friday 19th January, Elizabeth was the guest speaker at the launch of the Conservative Christian Fellowship branch in Romford. There was standing room only at the event due to the enthusiasm and hard work of Meg Davis who had organised the evening. The audience was cross denominational, and it is always wonderful to see a united, local church. Colin Bloom, the CCF Director, was right when he said it felt like “Wilberforce’s Clapham Sect”. Elizabeth spoke on the value of Christian involvement in politics, both locally and nationally.
