Baroness Berridge recently spoke at the Christian arts and music festival ‘Greenbelt’, held at Cheltenham Racecourse over the August bank holiday weekend. Elizabeth took part in a panel entitled “Off with their heads”, debating the monarchy with Bob Holman and Cole Moreton.
“Although over 70% of the country support retaining the monarchy, it was rather odd for the panel to be three people against and only myself in favour, but it was, I hope, still entertaining for the audience.”
Elizabeth also spoke publicly for the first time on “multi-culturalism”, explaining that state multi-culturalism failed as it never included the majority culture.
